- This clamp appears to be of good material and latched on to my Ram and Tackform balls perfectly. I like that the cups are grooved which helps maintain a no movement grip on the balls. I will be looking for other length and types. The knob to open was a bit stiff and very close to the arm itself so I had a hard time turning it but this may be the size of my hands at play.
- Very strong product that will ensure the security of whatever object you may trying to fasten in harsh conditions.
- I really like this arm, it\'s heavy-duty, and the sockets are textured so they will not slip. Like the rest of the BRCOVAN stuff I have tried, it\'s well-built and designed. this small arm fits great for my insta360 off the frame of my bike. It\'s very short, so if you are using it on handlebars it probably won\'t work well unless you need very little rise. Don\'t leave it clamped down for long periods, the texture in the sockets will deform the rubber on the ball mount.
- I use all kinds of RAM mounts for GPS, amateur radio, phones, etc. in vehicles, on ATVs, on tractors and even around the house. They are very practical and put the things you need within reach. These arms from BRCOVAN (more all-caps alphabet-soup brands...) seem to work very well with my RAM-branded equipment. The sockets are textured which seems to provide a good grip on the ball, but time will tell whether or not this degrades the ball. The real RAM sockets are smooth and depend purely on friction for holding which does not damage the ball. The BRCOVAN arms are aluminium and are somewhat thinner than RAM arms, so again time will tell if they can withstand the abuse that ATVs and tractors can dish out without breaking. If they hold up, and don\'t destroy balls, then I\'d recommend them. They have clean, angular lines and a smart appearance, but long term applicability will determine their value to me. I\'ll update if they fail me.
- I got this to use on my boat for my Garmin bottom machine. It is a little shorter than I expected but that is my fault. I saw the 2.48\" and thought that was ball to ball and not overall length.The quality is very nice. It is all aluminum with a stainless spring and bolt. We will see how the anodizing holds up in saltwater and I will defintely be putting some tef-gel between the aluminum and stainless due to salt. The wing nut is nice and smooth and the clamp holds very tightly without having to tighten the wing nut super tight since this has texture to the ball area.The price on this brand doesn\'t look to be any cheaper than the RAM ones I have purchased before but they do seem to be of very nice quality aluminum instead if plastic. We will see how the marine use is for this one but I have no doubt that a bicycle or motorcycle this thing would hold up forever.

- I needed a short extension for my GoPro mount and this fit the bill perfectly. For mounts using 1\" ball connectors, this is a great extension. The knurling on the inside of this mount is unusual but still provides effective grip. It did not cause any damage to the ball connectors I was using.

Then when it arrived I saw how he was pointing and many details of it and figured it was a good thing. Well now I know what it is and how of a good item this little gadget is. The quality of its construction is fantastic and the color, finish and moveability of it are great. He has been using it with his go pro on his bike and on a handheld pole for his skiing. Good quality socket arm indeed.
