- Got it for my son 2003 CRV, he work all summer and save all the money to buy himself his 1st car, as parents we pay for the DMV part and got him this screen and cam, my husband installed, and while for me look like a puzzle, for anyone who knows how cars work it really isn\'t complicated, he had to take off a bunch plastic panels to safely run ad hide the cables that go from the screen to the back camera. He wasn\'t able to center the cam do to where the license plate is located, the back door and the fact that it snows here (upstate NY) and we need to make sure it doesn\'t get cover with snow.Still my husband managed and is working fine.We contacted the seller for instructions on how to make the grid lines show up when in reverse and backing up the car, also how to change the time zone (it had China time zone) and for the speed indicator, it was showing kilometers, I couldn\'t avoid feeling I got an used one when I needed to adjust all this, connecting to our internet was not doing the trick for us of recognizing our time zone.The seller responded quickly and send me step by step instructions on what to do, this help and fix our dilemma.Overall is working well, my son likes it, and has no complaints. In my case we have over 20 arborvitaes on the side of our driveway and not having him brush them with the car every time he is backing up in the driveway is priceless and worth it.
- Can watch youtube and download apps like a tablet, the bluetooth works well and my only caveat is the wireless android auto which i cant get to work but definitely worth the price
- Plug and play, however never got the facia to fit 100% The screen comes attach to it so you have to transfer the hazzards light button and the two vents to the new facia. What ive seen thus far is great, maybe a bit slow other than that its a decent product!
- Very nice looking radio but need a manual to decipher the menu on radio from settings. Cannot understand what any selections mean to set it up. Very bad translation of setting selections. For next installers, instructions that make sense , even though it’s plug and play couldn’t figure out that the brown wire was for backup camera until I used my binoculars to read the label on the wire that said reverse camera in really small text to the Chinese writing.
- I have a 2003 Honda CRV the stereo fit perfect the sound is much better than stock the install I would lay it out first, for ease of install, the back up camera, You can see a picture for placement It works fine not completely being center. the clarity of the picture and the screen is like perfect. The sound of the stereo is much better than stock. The price of the unit that is an exact fit , you can’t beat the price. I have emailed for some help they answer back very quickly.
- It works great only thing is I can’t figure out how to connect steering controls if anyone wants to let me know greatly appreciated
- Backup camera doesn’t work when microphone for taking on the cellphone is plugged in. Not a good unit. Don’t buy it
