- The material is flexible. It does a good job of protecting the Air Tag but because it is flexible, if it is worked between two hard objects, the case can flex and allow the Tag to fall out.I had attached one to a collapsible wheelchair and in the process of loading and unloading in the car, it opened up and the Air Tag fell out. It stayed in the car so no harm and the case was not damaged so it still does its job. The key ring does not go through both halves of the case holding it together. We used others inside of luggage and backpacks without issue. I have paced it on a couple of keyrings and will see how it works - if it opens up in day-to-day use inside a purse or packet.
