- UPDATE: I had contacted the seller and they sent me a newer version which had been on my CRV since last 4 months. Guess what..no bubbles and is holding out very well. I changed to 5 stars as the customer service was very prompt to help out and the replacement product has much better adhesive which does not bubble out in heat.Recommend product.Hey there!This is not good at all. I have practically become an expert in applying such protective films on all my electronics and other items. I have never before seen a film of such bad quality.Like the other reviews I also noticed that after the first day large bubbles appeared on the screen from no where. It looked just fine on the first day after application. This is an indication of cheap adhesive quality.I would look for another option as this has clearly failed to do the job.I hope this helps you as I just put 12 bucks in the trash.Regards.
- I recently purchased a 2019 SUV and wanted this to protect the screen on my dash. It was delivered in 2 days and was very easy to apply. However, after 3 days, there was a single crack that appeared from top to bottom and it is a mystery how it appeared because it was applied without issue and never moved or readjusted afterwards. I plan to replace it because it is very noticeable and gives the appearance that my screen is cracked. Other than the crack, I recommend this product. I will purchase another and see what happens. If it recurs, I will be sending it back for a refund.
- Nice packaging with extras to prep the screen, quick shipment. Deducted a star because the volume knob hole wasn\'t centered (see pic). I was able to successfully remove and reapply 3 times to get it on straight. I put the suction cup in the lower right hand corner, put the hole over the knob and adhered it on the bottom left first. I then relaxed pressure on the suction cup VERY slowly while holding the lower left corner down. You can see the protector sealing to the screen. Just be patient and you won\'t get any bubbles. Time will tell how it holds up but it\'s another layer to protect the screen which is what I wanted.
- If there are any imperfections, small bubbles... do yourself a favor, don\'t try to reposition the glass. Basically whatever you get the first time will be your best shot. The first one I bought broke trying to lift it to reposition it because of a bubble in the lower corner near the knob. The second one did not stick in the right lower corner. I should have left it alone, but lifting it & putting it back on cause many bubbles.If I had lived with the minor flaws the first time I set either of them down, it would actually look pretty good.
- Just put it on my screen today - awesome! I usually have problems putting on screens - bubbles, dust, etc. I made sure I was in bright sun, used the alcohol pad to wipe it off. I would recommend you get another alcohol pad just in case, it gets frustrating when lint keeps landing. I did use the sticky to get up some small particles though you have to be careful to quickly dab as the adhesive can also stick to your screen if you drag it or stick it on there too long. The instruction were clear and I was very satisfied with the product.
- Nice hard protector versus the flimsy type. Although once you set it DO NOT try to peel it back up and reposition it! It will crack and shatter on you. I set mine a bit crooked and wanted to move it...nope. If its stuck down its done, most likely it\'ll break if you peel it up again. Very brittle.
- I\'ve noticed now in the warmer months I\'m starting to see the adhesive bubble underneath the glass and it makes for a weird, blotchy appearance during the day. I installed the protector a few months ago and it went on perfect with no bubbles. Disappointed now. See picture in the upper right corner of the infotainment. Again the application went on perfect and air bubbles were removed. It\'s only now months later I\'ve started noticing this blob underneath the glass continue to grow. It\'s clearly from the adhesive and I\'m not sure if it can be avoided
- Got this protector shortly after we purchased our 2018 CRV-EX. The protector was good and did what it was supposed to, but now, a couple of months later, a strange streak has formed over half of the glass. I\'ve seen other users of this protector also report this. It doesn\'t obscure or affect anything, but for aesthetic purposes, it is distracting. I will likely be removing the protector in the near future.Also, dust. Lots of dust collects on the glass. Have a microfiber cloth handy to wipe it every now and then.
