  • This is a great concept for those trying to minimize things attached to their bikes. Mine is on a trike. I wasn\'t sure about the angle but it worked. I charged it up and went to meet a friend for a ride. When I saw him I asked what he thought of new light. He asked \"what light?\". He got right near to me and said he could barely see it. I changed the pattern and we decided a little better but I am not sure drivers will see me any better in the daytime.I will likely keep it, since it takes up no room and if I get stuck in a darker situation at dawn or dusk it is handy. But I will still have to wear a bright helmet mounted light if I want it visible during the daytime.
  • Having used several front bike lights before, I am overly impressed with this front light. I really the way you attach it to your existing Garmin mount. You can then attach your Garmin device to it. This light is not a super bright light, which is good, because you don\'t want to blind those in front of you. Just make them aware. Which is what this light does. This light bike light with side visibility, and a warning flash also has light 6 light modes. It\'s the perfect light to own.
  • The media could not be loaded.  I just received my new Ravemen FR160 Daytime light, and I am very impressed with how well it\'s designed. It fits very snugly on the Garmin mount on my road bike and my Garmin 830 computer attaches snugly to the top of the light using the Garmin-compatible mount on the top of the Ravemen FR160\'s case. I am very impressed with the brightness of the LED light in all modes. Since I typically ride with my light in a flashing mode, I tested the FR 160 in its flashing mode to see how long it would last; the included manual claims it will operate for 12.5 hours in Rapid Flashing mode, and in fact, my fully charged light lasted for about 12 hours and 40 minutes in rapid flashing mode! Very impressive!! I really like that it is a rechargeable light avoiding the issue of having to replace the batteries! This light is well designed and very sleek looking and fits well on the Garmin mount and mates seamlessly with my Garmin bike computer. Another nice design feature is that the LEDs curl around the front of the light allowing the light to be seen from the side as well as the front, a very nice safety visibility feature for sure! This is a really nice daylight light, in fact, I am really surprised that Garmin didn\'t design a similar light to mate with its mounts and bike computers after seeing how sleek this arrangement is on my bike. The FR 160 provides excellent visibility and avoids cluttering up my handlebar with a light mount, etc.!
  • Fits perfect with my Garmin Edge 1040. Flashing light modes are very bright. Steady light not as bright but bright enough for night rides. Can be seen from the side also.
  • Really wanted this light. It will not connect to the Garmin holder. Seems like the mount is too big. I see someone else had the same issue. Must be a defective batch. Had to return it. Disappointed as I have a friend that has one and it worked perfectly. Too bad.
  • This product is very good. I keep asking myself how the folks at Garmin didn\'t create this YEARS ago. It\'s such a simple, great idea. Why not make a light that works with the mount and computer you already have? The light fits onto both my Garmin mounts, the out-front, and the one that rubberbands onto the stem though I don\'t think you\'d ever want to use it with the latter. My Edge 520+ snapped into it with ease. The light sits safely and secure in the mount and my Garmin sits safely and secure into the light. No fear of either coming out. I also had several other riders in my local bike club snap their Garmin devices into it. Not one compatibility issue. From reading other reviews I\'m wondering if there was a defective batch or they were using Wahoo devices. As this will work with Wahoo devices you have to buy a separate piece to make it fit.The light itself has 6 modes. Like most lights of it\'s size and weight, 3 or the modes are not very useful. This is not a good head light. The modes that don\'t flash will not adequately illuminate the road to ride at night. They also serve no purpose during the day. This is a \"be seen\" light. Fortunately, it excels at this. My favorite mode is the \"warning flashing\" mode. I got the reported 5 hours of use on a full charge. This will suffice for anything shy of a century ride (unless you\'re doing sub 5 centuries in which case bless your heart). It will illuminate while charging so if you have some way of supplying power you could in theory use it for touring rides. You could also use the \"rapid flashing\" mode. It isn\'t nearly as powerful as the \"warning flashing\" but it lasts 12 hours. I feel like it would be best for touring with a group. You aren\'t as concerned about being seen as there are usually enough riders in the pack that the cars will see you. The happy medium is the slow flash. It is brighter than the rapid flash but not as bright as the warning flash. It lasts 8 hours. 95% of the time I\'ll be using the \"warning flashing\" mode and I honestly wouldn\'t have been too put off if that was the only mode it had. The flash pattern isn\'t like any other bike light I own. Another review mentioned it mimics the flashing of police lights and this very well may be the case. It certainly draws the attention of those who see it. The fact that it also illuminates a little around the sides of the device is nice as well. I would still use this at night in combination with a true head-light. Again, the flashing will draw the attention of the driver better than using a headlight alone. If I had to nitpick, a slightly longer battery for the warning flash mode would have been nice but there really isn\'t any way to do that without adding size and weight. It also charges plenty fast. Nothing about it makes me want to remove a star, especially considering the cost. It\'s better than lights I have that are twice as expensive and not nearly as functional. This product is a winner! It\'s such a winner that even though I got it for free, it if was stolen I would replace it immediately. It\'s my new favorite \"be seen\" light.
