- I have been using the Forerunner to track my runs. I was skeptical about it being refurbished but so far so good it has lived up to my expectations. Definitely would buy again!
- The watch face seems a little dim, other than that it\'s a truly amazing watch but I have trouble reading it occasionally
- It gives me accurate reading when run/walk outside. On the treadmill it always gives me some deviation, but usually not a large difference from what the treadmill shows. It is good for measuring time, miles when running outside. And don\'t need cell phone with you. It connects with GPS single very quickly (30 secs) when starting to walk or run.
- I\'ve owned 6 other wearables, including a Galaxy Watch 4, a FitBit, and an Oura ring, and each one had at least one fatal flaw. The problem was usually a very inaccurate heart rate monitor. I didn\'t expect much from this FR 45, but I\'ve been very pleasantly surprised. The heart rate monitor is very accurate, and it\'s 97% accurate measuring distances for runs and bike rides. It\'s not a smart watch and it doesn\'t have a touch screen, but it has a few smart features (it notifies you of texts and phone calls, and can show the weather and calendar events.) It doesn\'t try to duplicate the functions of your phone, and it delivers on all its promises.Pros: designed for activity tracking, and it does that better than any other wearable I tried; reasonable price; the buttons let you access functions without looking at the watch, for example, through a shirt sleeve; loud audio notifications for timers, etc.; excellent battery lifeCons: each of the 5 buttons has a different function for a quick press and a long press, and it takes a while to memorize how to navigate between functions. The interface isn\'t as intuitive as a smart watch, and it often takes several button presses to access the screen you want. But once you learn the features, it\'s easy.
- Garmin makes durable products. This is easily readable in sunlight. Very accurate when tracking mileage. Their app is easy to use and has everything we need.

- I have been wearing for 2 months now, I think it works very well for runners, the interface and ease of use could be improved. The SOS and emergency GPS text system is why I purchased this watch, but I have not used it today since I\'ve been working out at home. The app is a 4/5 also, docking one point for not being the most self explanatory. I wish they had a way to keep track of HIIT and circuit training, not just general cardio. It gets the job done and it\'s much much better quality than my fit bit was.
