- Only buy if you plan on drilling a hole in your kayak for a flush mount that comes with it. It will not fit regular rod holders. I had to cut off a stump from a Berkley rod holder and attach it with a srcew so I would have to replace the existing rod holder mount.
- To mount this you have to drill a 1/2 hole on your Kayak or boat and surface mount the plate. Good idea terrible design.
- This will not work with a touch screen phone, The plastic is to thick to let you unlock your screen.
- The plastic pocket pulled apart at the seams after a few times using it. Also the pocket easily detaches from the mount itself causing me to lose a phone on the bottom of a lake when just trying to position it. I would recommend other options than this.
- The item ripped when my husband put his phone in it (a iPhone se) very disappointed
