Garmin Lily™, Small Smartwatch with Touchscreen and Patterned Lens, Light Gold with Black Leather Band
- I really like the watch overall. My husband has a different Garmin and I like the features of his better, but I needed something that looked more \"professional\" for work so went with this design. I don\'t wear it when I sleep because the light on it comes on every single time I move, even at the most dim setting it still wakes me up - but I like things really dark when I sleep and I\'m a light sleeper. Also, when I\'m on the trails and it starts to calculate activity, I don\'t like that I can\'t see what my heartbeat is in the moment, I have to wait until my activity is over or it stops calculating how long I\'m doing something. I might be able to check the phone app, but I don\'t want to carry my phone and have to stop when I\'m hiking or biking or whatever. Overall, it\'s a decent watch...just needs a few tweaks to fit an active lifestyle while still \"looking\" good.
- This watch is very nice looking and functions well for the time being. Was very surprised at how cheap this watch felt. It feels and sounds like one of my kids play watches. If you shake your wrist it sounds like the watch is going to rattle apart. Oh well as long as it does the job that’s all that matters.
- This watch is beautiful. It has a classic look and fulfils the basic requirements for a smart watch. I also have a tiny wrist so the size is absolutely perfect. Overall, the aesthetic appearance is great.HOWEVER, the functionality is not worth the price, and I\'ve encountered some issues with what I can do with it. The interface has no color, which is off-putting especially for someone who likes to color-coordinate their calendars. It has limited watch faces to select from, so there\'s very little customization offered. The bigger issue is that (at least for the one I received) the timer function is faulty. I can set the number of minutes, which is in the middle of the watch face, but can\'t adjust the seconds or hours for the timer. So the tl;dr version:Pros: Beautiful and classic look; Size is perfect for small wrists.Cons: High price; Very little options for customization; No color; functionality defective when it comes to the timer (this may just be the one I received).
- Love it overall. Great for everyday use and super pretty. Doesn\'t connect with Google fit which is only downside
- Beautiful, functional watch! Love it! Getting another!
- Good watch , 3 days battery..
- Edited to add - had to return watch, could not remove the silicone band to put back on the leather, Garmin told me I\'m not the first person to have this issue! If you plan to switch out the band, I would not recommend this watch.Original review: I like the size, that\'s about where it stops for me. Garmin has a great app, love that it does sleep tracking and has blood oxygen sensors - but you will find that on all their watches (and a lot more, like Garmin pay and coach). As other viewers mentioned, the face doesn\'t always react when you look at your wrist. You have to double tap it kinda hard to wake it, it usually works best if your nail taps it too.My biggest issue with the Lily is that it\'s ugly. I\'m not a gold person, so the gold watch face and detailing aren\'t my fave and the lack of ability to swap out the face is also disappointing. The purple option seemed too childish for an adult woman to wear to work, so gold was my only choice. I settled on black and got the leather band, figuring I\'d swap it out for silicone during the summer and have the leather in case the silicone bothered my skin. If you are wondering, I think the watch is actually very comfortable and even with my sensitive skin, the leather has not caused any irritation. Having now tried the silicone, I\'m glad I sprung for the leather because it\'s much more comfortable. The silicone is super thick and sticks out almost as far as the watch face, but because it\'s on the bottom of your wrist, it\'s very uncomfortable at a desk if you type during the day. I think a better option would have been to buy the sport white (nicer face than the leather white) and then pay for a white leather band so you have both options. Although realistically this doesn\'t work because of the issues with the screws that make it impossible to switch bands out. I\'m grateful I identified this problem while still in the return period. The leather band two weeks in is already cracked and looking worn. The white silicone band I ordered (they do not offer a black silicone one, called Garmin to confirm) doesn\'t work with the black face because of the watch design. So while the bands are billed as interchangeable, as you can see from the picture, they aren\'t exactly. Your original band color is the color of the watch face that overhangs onto the new band. It looks bizarre and mismatched. Not only that, but the replacement process is a joke. You have two small plastic tabs (think soda pop can tabs) that you have to put on either side of the screws and turn in opposite directions. This took FOREVER and was crazy frustrating, given many newer smart watches have bands that pop off easily.I\'m thinking that as much as I adore the size of this watch, the inability to switch out bands (replacement leather ones are $60 - there are no aftermarket non-Garmin ones available yet) makes me think I\'m better off dealing with one of their slightly larger, more established series. I would be interested to see what the Lily 2.0 has in store. I am trying out the Vivoactive 4S now, which is the next-smallest and I\'m impressed at how much more comfortable that silicone band is and at how many more features it has, seeing it really made me realize the Lily is very overpriced for what it does. The Vivofit 4S is definitely bigger but it\'s not impossibly clunky and heavy as I\'d feared. I\'m waiting to check out the Venu as my only complaint about the Vivo 4S is the screen, which has abysmal resolution. The Venu is, however, a smidge larger than the Vivo 4S, so we\'ll see if it\'s worth compromising on size.
- Good elegant for women does his job
