I had the Garmin Forerunner 610 running watch, and really liked the capabilities it has. It\'s accurate and it has many features that I find useful for that hobby. The online integration is great.So, when I was golfing with a buddy, he had a GPS system that made our game more enjoyable. I had been using a rangefinder device and though you can use it to see how far you are from a trap or water, it takes a while to settle in on flags from time to time. Since I already had a great experience with Garmin, I decided to check out their products for golf and found this gem. I\'ve had it for about 6 weeks now, and used it on several golf courses with great success.Pros:- It is much lighter than I anticipated, which makes it almost undetectable during play.- The display is easy to read and use.- I love that I can keep score on it.- All the courses I played on (about 5 different ones) were accurate and dependable.- Layup guides are very useful and accurate on the courses I\'ve played.- The battery life is great, I\'ve played a round and kept using the watch for at least a week without a problem. I have not tried more than 1 round yet, but the indicator shows less than half of the power is used in a round.- The odometer works well, I had the pleasure to use a caddie once and it showed that I walked 5.4 miles for the round.- It\'s always on, knows where you are on the course, and moves you to the next hole seamlessly.- The distance measurement is really nice, for when I hit a good shot with a particular club.- Garmin support is quite good and very timely.Cons:- The charger is a bit tricky to get the watch properly placed on, but it does click when it\'s seated correctly, so no big deal.- Also, it only has a USB connector to attach to a computer for recharging, I\'m using a USB power adapter from my phone, and it works fine, but I suppose those without a computer for recharging may have a tough time.- I had a bit of a problem loading my scorecards from the watch to my computer, but using Garmin support I was able to rectify it quickly and it works nicely. No bells and whistles, but nice to have.Overall, this is a great product and a nice addition to my game. Actually speeds up the pace of play, especially stepping off distances from sprinkler heads. Given that it is always on, it is also better than the smartphone apps and the scope distance finders. The pros very far outweigh the cons for me, and that\'s why I\'m very high on this product.

The Garmin Approach S2 it’s definitely a great solution when talking about finding information very quick, and it has a great set of available courses.Features: it could be very ironic to say this, but it is great how basic the Garmin Approach S2 is. It shows the green area very clear and also it is very easy to ready the display. It is definitely a very helpful tool wrapped on your wrist, because it gives you the chance and ability to see what is coming in the following yards. The product probably won’t sure yardage for bunkers or landmarks, but as I mentioned before, it has the basics; which makes it a good and simple product. I am a person that travels a lot and has given a big use of the Garmin Approach 2S everywhere I go. It has the advantage of providing a course list that is big enough that you would probably find any course I go to around the world. The Odometer is a big plus that comes with the product, because it keeps track of how much you walk during a round.Product performance and design: before purchasing the product I really did not believe it would work the way it does. The Garmin Approach 2S has the perfect size, is very light and easy to wear with any kind of clothing. The quality in a general aspect is good. To be completely honest the watch itself is not very nice looking, it was very big buttons and at first sight it wouldn’t seem like it will be very good longevity wise, but I have had this product for a while now and I am very confident that it does its job just fine. The charge connection can be a little inconvenient, because the battery does not last for too long, and that was one of my concerns, but if I charge it during the night it will work for the next game.Conclusion: after using the Garmin Approach 2S for quite a long time now, I must admit that I feel very satisfied with this product and its good quality. I haven’t regret for purchasing this product; so far it was helped me a lot improving my skills in golf and making my game every time more interesting and challenging.
