Items as described. The only reason I needed to replace my band was because the little loop next to the buckle that holds the wrist strap broke. The other loop free floats and I could have easily replaced a loop like that. I think this is a bit expensive for just the band considering what I paid for the whole watch.
Replacement band is fine. The problem is I\'ve had the watch almost exactly two years and the rose gold on the face and has faded. Hopefully nobody notices since the buckle sits on the opposite side of my wrist from the face!
I bought this Garmin band for my Lily because I was having an allergic reation to the silcone one that cae with the watch. I was going to get a leather one regardless because I like the color, the texture, and fit my wrist much better than the original one. The band is a bit stiff when first wearing because it is leather, but has becoe a bit more flexible. My wrist doesn\'t sweat anymore.
The tracker comes with a small band that barely fit my wrist. Ordered this replacement set, as I thought since it is the Garmin brand it would fit best and be good quality. Changing the band took two people as it is a bit of a pain to work the little tools they send. The band tore the first day I wore it. I ended up cutting off a large chunk of the end of the sizing band as the tear was almost halfway through it and it kept catching when I tried to remove or put on the watch.
As promised
I had the Forerunner 235 and still have the Fenix 5, and bands were a breeze to replace! This band is good quality, BUT, I’ve been trying for the last 15 minutes to install, to no avail. Unlike the other watches you need a tool to install this. And it’s just … difficult. Frustrating.
Edited to add - I had to return the watch along with the replacement silicone bands because the band would not come off on the top side after installing it.Bought the watch with the leather band, as you can see, it\'s already cracked and bent, and is not even a month old. So I ordered the silicone bands, thinking it would be more durable. The problem is there\'s no black silicone option (I called Garmin and confirmed), so I went with white. As your can see, it looks awful bc of the black watch face that sticks out into the band, which is masked when you use a band the same color as the watch. Essentially this means you are locked into whatever color your original band is. The silicone is also very thick, hard to capture in a pic, but it sticks out almost as far as the watch face. This is uncomfortable if you spend a lot of time at a desk typing.Also if you are not very good with your hands, don\'t bother ordering. For some unknown reason Garmin backpedaled and there\'s no quick release latch. You have to fit two small plastic tabs over the screw ends and try to twist in opposite directions, while exerting enough pressure to hold the watch up. It was a frustratingly long process, only to discover the band wasn\'t really interchangeable and that I had to go back and put the original band back.
