  • Used in commercial driving and commercial flying. This thing is very sturdy. Only complaint is that it uses RAM style connections and works with all the RAM parts but IS NOT MADE BY RAM and the suction cups a nearly identical and sturdy But, the mechanism is not as smooth at first with some very thin razor oil sprayed in is runs smoother now (one month of use) and I am sure it will continue to smooth out over time.
  • I drive a tractor trailer with air ride suspension and a tri-axle dump truck with spring suspension in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. No matter what brand of suction cup mount I have ever used, crossing the Commodore Barry Bridge in either direction, GPS, phone cradle, dashcam, you name it, it plopped off the windshield. I\'m a little excited to try this double cup mount to see if it withstands the shitty ass roads and bridges that our highway tax dollars are not really fixing. I put this unit in my Yukon Denali for a day, but that\'s not a fair test since it doesn\'t bounce around like trucks do.Will hopefully remember to update the review after I use it in a TRUCK.I will say that the cups seem to have a adhesive on them from shipping to keep the round thin plastic shields on them while in transit. I\'m sure that\'s helping with suction for the time being.The twist-lock portion of this mount is not as thick as a true RAM cup, but I don\'t know if that has impact on the sticking to the windshield

  • Tried a couple different phone holders for my car but they just were not durable. I have a RAM mount on my motorcycle so decided to look for one interchangeable with my car. This thing is great! It is a little bigger than most but man once I stuck it to the windshield that was that. You can literally pull on it and it will not budge. You can\'t go wrong with RAM products
  • The low-profile suction cups use a strong adhesive to maintain a strong attachment. This might be good for a semi-permanent attachment, but the adhesive make removal very difficult (not ideal if you need to remove this after every flight). Plus, I had to make some covers for the suction cups to keep the adhesive from getting dirty. Overall, so-so.
  • You\'re basically getting 2 RAM-style suction mounts for the price of just one.It does mean that, rather than needing to engage the full suction, you can just rest it on a surface and it will stabilize your phone.
