- Bought this to couple with my existing RAM mounts. it feels super strong and secure, I\'ve had this attached to the side of my truck on rough overgrown forrest roads with branches consistently banging into it and the setup stayed rock solid, on the highway at 80mph bumps and all, still solid! Finally it has a great opening range too. really good mount at a great price point.
- I use this as part of a yoke mount for my Piper. It\'s made of quality plastic and doesn\'t deform as you tighten down the clamp, and the rubber grips hold tight without slipping. The twist knob stays on tight and doesn\'t work itself loose despite bumps and vibrations in the plane for hours. A perfect product for what I needed.
- It worked great for 7 months. Last month it was very loose and then I unscrewed it and the ball on the mount had a rubber ball over it that just crumbled to pieces leaving the mount worthless. I never took it off or loosened the mount. Just used it when I was on trails in my wrangler to hold my radio. Would not buy again.
