- This isn’t as good as plugging directly to the phone however, I don’t like having to keep charging my phone when not necessary. That is the big plus for this device. The issues I’ve had so far is connectivity to the radio. It seems to take over the radio controls and not connect, then other times it will seamlessly connect. When it is connected it operates with a slight lag. But it does work exactly as if the phone was plugged directly to the radio. The jury is still out regarding phone call clarity. There seemed to be a little distortion on the one and only call I made but that could have been for any reason. Overall I would absolutely recommend this product or something like this to help keep the battery on your phone healthy. I do not regret buying this. If this works well on my 2018 Gold Wing then I’ll buy an additional one for the bike.
- This Wireless CarPlay Adapter is so easy to set up and use. Pretty much plug it into the USB port in your vehicle and connect via Bluetooth to your phone. That is how I set it up. I was done in like 1-2 minutes with total set up. So simple and so easy! Am so happy now that my CarPlay is wireless. No more hanging wires in my car!!! YAY!!! Definitely recommend this product.
- I plugged the device into my truck right after receiving it. I had my phone connected wirelessly in less than 30 seconds and I was streaming music. Now, my phone connects most of the time before I even start the truck. I am more than happy with this purchase.
- I did not know this product existed until recently. I have had problems with my cell phone connecting to my car because the connector on the phone only works sometimes. This product solved that problem. It was easy to use and works very well. I can not live without it.
- I appreciated how small this product actually is. It fit nicely in the arm rest storage of my car, so that it is out of sight, but still broadcasts well. It was very easy to set up (took all of 2 minutes) and Apple Car Play was working in my car without any wires. There is a slight lag when you first turn on the car - for the connection to take place, but that is expected with any wireless device. Once it is playing though, it is great. Really a set it and forget it. No more wires or taking out the phone, just to listen to music or use maps, etc.
- Does everything as advertised. Easy to connect and can put phone anywhere. Connection is great as the dongle is deep in the center console and still no problems with car play. Hope it last a long time
- I was worried this wouldn\'t be what I needed but it was perfect. It connected to my car with no problems. I have 2019 Rav 4. I would defiantly recommend this product. Time saver!!!
- I am extremely happy with this product. It automatically connects to my phone while I walking to my Bronco even if I have not turned on the vehicle. There is a 1-2 second delay time from your phone to the control panel, however it does not impact the Car Play features. Absolutely would recommend it to anyone interested in getting rid of wired CarPlay.
