- Works as advertised, no error, can still use scanner, although I have to tuck in the other connector for my scanner but no worries, I installed a GPS, network module for my RAM.
- I purchased one of these devices to use on my fleet of vehicles. The reason to purchase this was that I had two devices that needed to be connected the the OBDII port, (a GPS Tracker and a Dash Camera). Once you unmount the original OBDII port and install the splitter and mount the splitters OBDII port you can not even tell that this item has been added. I have been using the splitter for several months now to power a GPS tracker and a dash camera and everything is working great. Item is well worth the money.
- I have a GPS/WIFI device that hooks to the OBD2 port, and it was causing issues with my vehicle! I ordered this to try and help with these issues, it arrived quickly, and was very aesy to install, and I have yet to have the previous issues that I was having.... I would highly recommend if you have similar experiences..
- The original bracket broke and I failed emissions because it wasnt secured to anything.I bought this and i secured it at the original location. I connected my GPS to the other end and tucked it under the dash.My concern, I was hoping it wouldn\'t interfere with any readings.Nope.... - The mounting flange makes this a winner. The other port can be tucked away out of sight behind the knee panel, thus reducing the likelihood of a thief (or your teenage son) unplugging your monitoring device.
- It is working for it’s purpose but the reason I didn’t give it more stars is the mounting bracket broke while tightening the screws to mount it in the OBD port location. I didn’t get to aggressive while tightening the screws. I was actually being pretty gentle. Just bummed me out. I bought several for a fleet of vehicles and if I needed more I would probably just go with the same ones.
- Bought this item to run a Scan Gauge2 and power and another device off the obd2 port. It works great so far, very solid cord and termination. The port that meant to take place of the factory obd2 connector seems to designed for GM style mounting with two fasteners. Keep that in mind when ordering.
- for this price, i expected something marginal. what i got was oem-quality, very nicely molded ends. the one that mounts in the dash is nearly identical to my brand new oem connector. you won’t go wrong with this one
