- Still trying how to produce reports. Live time is great but am confused as to creating reports from live time monitoring
- I am using this tracker for safety purposes in the Dominican Republic. It is the fourth I\'ve tried. Unreliable connections, short battery life, inaccurracy, and poor software plaqued the others. I couldn\'t get good information about how this unit might work in the DR, but decided to try it. My expectations were low due to the previous products. Turns out this is what I have been looking for. I didn\'t even know if it would connect, but it did so instantly and without hassle (literally turned it on, went to the tracking site and it was good to go). I walked the tracker through the house as a test, just to see if it would detect the motion. It did, and to my amazement, it also reported the details of the movement; distance and turn for turn. That I was not expecting. Once on the vehicle, it has been equally reliable and accurate. The software is robust, giving location details, individual tracks, street views where the vehicle has stopped (not everywhere, but more than one might expect in the DR). You can run a reenactment of the vehicle\'s movement at 1X to 100X. This is much better than a bunch of static lines that you have to decipher. You can just watch what really happened. There are many device settings, reports, alarms, and other parameters that you can set. I haven\'t gotten that far into those features and probably don\'t need to, but it is by far the most comprehensive system I have seen. I imagine the results are all the more impressive in the U.S. where more satellite detail and streetviews are available. The one thing I cannot report on is the impressive stated battery life. I have one week\'s experience with no decline, but will report back with the actual results once I have them. I had been frustrated at the the results of previous units, and figured I would have to settle for whatever I could get. This tracker is far better than I expected, and actually more than I need. The cost was no higher than the others. Very Impressive.P.S. Being so impressed, I read the 1,2 and 3 star reviews. I\'d advise a grain of salt based on the nature and quality of these reviews/complaints.
- Very accurate
- Very easy to use, the biggest hurdle is getting account activated (said this can take up to 2 business days, but in my case it was several hours). After that just put it in the vehicle and it works. Alerts work, though they are a bit slow (alerts can arrive 2-7 minutes after the event that generated the alert). Geofences work. Website / software show where the car is going nicely. Also it\'s quite accurate even when GPS signal is not available and it\'s using WiFi-based location - in this mode max error is usually from 3 to 8 meters. However, battery life is not what is advertised. It was advertised as 4-6 weeks, in reality it is less than 2 weeks with light usage. 12-13 days to be exact.
- Purchased this for personal use. Works great. After a year the device would not charge so I contacted customer service and told them the problem. They had me take a picture of the charging port then had me send it back with the tracking #. All of this happened in less than an hour as the customer service was extremely responsive. New device arrived less than a week later. Needed help transferring subscription and again customer service handled it in minutes! Twice reaching out to customer service a PERSON responded in minutes via email. 5 star company!!!!
- I read everyone’s reviews and I had the same thing happen. It fell off the vehicle and I lost it. I have to say though. I own this. I should’ve taken more time and care in the placement of where I put it.I wanted to be sure I wrote a review. This tracker is extremely accurate. Most importantly I wanted to be sure and give this company a review. I have NEVER had such amazing customer service. No joke. This team is very responsive and helpful. Not to mention patient. In a weeks time of buying a device and then a replacement device I spoke to these guys like we were great friends or family. I HIGHLY recommend this company and this product. Just take your time if you’re placing this underneath a vehicle. I found the case of where it fell off and the location didn’t make sense. It fell off on a normal paved road. No pot holes, however a country road led up to it. Stellar company - 5 full stars for sure. (I did not get paid for this review)
- I paid more for this device thinking it would be better than some of the other gps trackers on Amazon. From the start it has shown to be unreliable. The setup process requires a subscription. I paid about $59 for 3 months of service. The mobile application has a terrible user experience and is not intuitive. As a first step you need to email the app support team to get a username and password created. This Willy ale a few a days to get a response. Then you will get a generic password that you can’t change.I can not find a way to create alerts for when the vehicle moves or when the battery is losing a charge. Speaking of the battery the charger lasts about a week when set to update at 45 seconds.As I sit here writing this I can’t get the device to connect to the gpa network following a recharge. Don’t waste your money on this product it is not worth the money and the app is not user friendly and the device is unreliable.
- The battery life has really been as advertised. I think one of the trackers we have is currently at 40% we are close to passing 2 months of it being installed.
