• I bought my best friend a Garmin S1 GPS golf watch for his 53rd birthday. I have one too. We play golf 1 to 3 times a week and he\'s was always asking me for the distance to the green. So I got him his own. They\'re about $140 to $160 dollars for the S1 model. (The lowest price i\'ve ever seen was Black Friday 2014 : $99 bucks !!) He lost the recharging cord/clip the week after his birthday. For a month of golf outings, he never wore his GPS watch. I found this Charge clip on Amazon and it was identical to the one that came with the watch ! The exact part ! When I gave it to him and he was surprised and grateful. We\'ve been buddies since 1978; 36 years to be exact, but he didn\'t expect me to replace the charge clip he lost. Heck, it was pretty cheap and it arrived quickly, like in two days !!!...That\'s my story
• My Garmin Golf GPS watch is wonderful. Works flawlessly. However, the charger was inadvertently broken. :-(I placed an order for this item and asked/paid for Overnight Delivery. I am in Portland, OR and the order was shipping from Seattle, WA.The replacement charger was not delivered the next day as requested. It was delivered the following day instead. It was exactly what I needed and wanted and it works perfectly.I sent an email to Amazon customer service expressing my disappointment that I did not receive it Overnight as paid for.They responded immediately saying they were sorry, it had been processed and shipped correctly (it was) and sometimes there are issues with UPS that they cannot control.However, Amazon then refunded my complete shipping cost! All of it. I was only expecting a refund difference between UPS Overnight and UPS 2nd Day but Amazon stepped up to the plate and refunded the entire amount.Now.....that\'s what I call Customer Service!Thank you Amazon.farlando
• This is the second replacement clip I have ordered. The springs break after a year or so of use.
• We have a couple of the Garmin GPS training watches (the Forerunner 210 and 410) and have been very pleased with them and the customer service provided by Garmin when repairs are necessary.However, one of the things that could stand improvement is this charging/data clip. The units that came with both watches continue to have problems -- and this replacement for our 210 appears to be no different.I wish that Garmin would (could?) change these GPS units to wireless syncing especially since the watches already have the ability to read data wirelessly from the foot pods and heart monitors. Since the connection to the charging dock seems to be a common problem for users, it would seem that Garmin should be looking for ways to improve upon this function.
• My husband uses the Garmin charger constantly! The original one broke; he likes this one!
• The plastic charging clip used to charge the watch just broke because it is made out of cheap plastic. This is the second one that has fallen a part. If the clip were made out of metal (like a binder clip) it would last forever. Not sure whether I will buy another charging clip or buy a different brand of GPS Golf watch.
• Works just fine on my GPS watch
