LDFAS Fenix 7S/6S/5S Band, 20mm Titanium Metal Quick Fit Watch Strap Compatible for Garmin Fenix 7S/6S Pro/5S/5S Plus/D2 Delta S/Instinct 2S, Black
- Love this band.I have the Fenix 6S Sapphire with DLC coating (black) and this goes perfectly in my opinion. The watch came with a rubber band that\'s great for roughing it but I wanted something a little nicer looking for everyday casual wear. This fits the bill perfectly.I haven\'t actually weighed them but they don\'t feel any different in that respect on the wrist, it is titanium and not heavy steel. I found it easy to adjust the size with the included tools and parts, plus the inclusion of the two half size links on the band as delivered allowed me to fit it perfectly for a snug but not too tight fit for the sensors to work properly. The quick fit connectors are actually easier to attach and remove from the watch face than the factory band due to the \"little finger nail handles(my words)\" that aren\'t present on the one from Garmin. I\'ve done cardio in it without noticing but make sure to swap out with the rubber for strength training since it naturally has give in it for that type of wrist and forearm movement. For reference, it takes me under a minute to swap them out and most of that time is spent making sure I\'m putting the next one on the \"right\" direction (read: think it\'s supposed to go, the way I like it).Prior to purchasing one thing I was concerned about was the durability of the finish, I can be rough on watches and never take them off unless I have to. The only place I see any finish wear is on the under side where the inside clasp hinge rubs against the band. On the outside I have a scratch on the DLC (diamond like carbon) watch face but not a single mar on the band.In summary, I highly recommend this strap whether you are looking for a replacement or just want an additional band to change up the look.HTH someone with their choice - Joey
- The media could not be loaded. Ordered this with much hesitation having seen some of the reviews. But alas, Garmin Fenix 7S with its 20mm QuickFit bar being fixed really give me little choice.Had it on for the last 3 days. Use one of the half links to get a very nice tight fit around my risk.Zero problem. fit nicely. no issue with color. even use alcohol swab to had a go at it. nah. no color coming off. Very comfortable as well.
- Its hard to slip it on and get a comfortable feel on the wrist but get it beyond the palm. The clasp is too small. I don\'t know if that is just because of my palm / wrist size. It is especially hard in the morning after coming out of the shower the skin is supple and clasp does not open far enough without struggling to slip it down.
- Lightweight and doesn\'t scratch easily (after wearing more than a month and a number of impacts, can just see 2 small scratches if I look carefully). All that being said, there was a defect in the first one I received. The hole was too large for one of the pins, and the pin pushed through, making the band almost fall off. The second one I received did not have that issue and has been working well. Very comfortable.
- Update: the part of the clasp sheared so i put in for replacement, guess that piece wasnt titanium or just weakSo i was skeptical seeing as how garmin sellz their silicone band for close to the same price but i can say im pleasntly surprised. So far no complaints, easy to adjust and i appreciate that it came with a little tool to remove the link pins. I cannot confirm yet if this is real titanium, but its light enough and pretty durable as far as what i have put it through.
- Problem 1: Where to start.. first they sent the wrong size pins. Not that it was even close.. they were off by at least 4mm. I was able to reuse the factory pins.. and I’m not sure why they say this is for Garmin only. It appears that it would work on any watch.. assuming that they send this right size pins.Problem 2: One negative review states that the band is difficult to get past your hand. This is an understatement. I had difficulty getting it on BEFORE I was going to resize the band by two links.Problem 3: the finish was flaking off while taking it out of the packaging.Product is a total joke!! Avoid.
- This is a very comfortable band. The latch is very easy to use and very secure. Very pleased. The only draw back is the only adjustment is adding or removing links. It would be nice to have some minor adjustment added without link adding/removing.
