- It works great for holding the tag and slipping on a collar that you already have. Disappointing though is the way the AirTag works for finding the dog. Unless you are in close proximity or the dog is near another apple customer, you cannot use it to find the dog. Nor can you share the AirTag with another customer such as your wife if you split up to go look for the dog. So, this gadget works great and I took off one star primarily because the AirTag design makes the product sort of useless. Or maybe, I just don\'t understand how to use the AirTag to its max.
- Works as expected. AirTag fit perfect. Do recommend.
- Soft plastic holder for AirTag. Great solution to use on different collars, instead of buying a collar with in integrated holder. Seems to be light enough to not bother my cat. The slit to pass the collar is a little large for a cat collar, but it means it is more versatile for compatibility with different sizes of collars. Doesn’t get much dirty and the material feels easy to wipe.
- At first I worried that the holder would not securely contain the AirTag, especially with a playful pup running around and getting into mischief, but after trying it out, I believe it will hold it just fine. It is a snug fit and there is an inner lip around the edge that holds the AirTag in place. The back side has a silicone strap for the collar to fit through. It is plenty roomy for most collars to slip right into. It needs to be a this way in order to easily slide over the buckles. My dog didn’t seem to mind wearing it. I don’t think she even knew it was there. I experimented with the placement of the tag on the collar. I found that putting it on the back of the neck or to the side works best; at least for a little dog, it does. When I placed it in the front under my dog’s neck, it seemed to be in the way and hindered her from tilting her head down… kind of pressing on her throat. I am glad I got it. I bought the AirTags to put on my luggage when I travel, but now with this holder, it will come in handy to keep track of our dog, too.
- Probably the smallest size airtag holder you can have, but unfortunately still too large for a cat. You can see by the picture once an airtag is in the holder the cat can\'t move it\'s neck. I plan on using this on the cats harness rather than a collar. Overall its a good quality but the opening on the back is very large. if it was stretched out at all the airtag would definitely fall out. But the good news is you bought a two pack :)
- Got these for my doodle and corgi. My corgi LOVES to run and when he was a pup he would dart out the front door at any opportunity. Though he has since grown out of that, it still feels good to have this and the AirTag on them both. Just in case. The material is soft and smooth. And easy to work with. For $10 you really can’t beat it. Colors exactly as pictured.
- Hey, if you already have a collar that your cat or a dog loves then get these for your AirTags. You won’t need to have another collar hanging around the house. They seem to fit, and they seem to slide on the collar pretty easily.
- It does what’s expected and provides a simple way to keep the AirTag attached to my pets. Definitely recommend!
