  • This item was even better than the description! It was very easy to install on the device, the u-Tube video link they provided was useful, but the written instructions would have been sufficient without the video. Since this was the second ArmorSuit Product I purchase and installed, I knew the key was to keep your fingers moistened while working with the screen protector. If your fingers start to dry out, you can reapply the spray solution as needed, The screen savor was such a perfect \"close tolerance\" fit, I didn\'t quit get it positioned on the device as I should have. I didn\'t notice until I started to squeegee out the bubbles, but I was unable to get one \"long\" air bubble out, and keep it out (the corner kept pulling away from the edge of the screen). I soon realized, the screen protector was a \"millifraction\" (almost unnoticeable to the naked eye) off center which was causing one edge to ride up on the device screen frame. Having watched their instruction video, I re-moistened my fingers with the supplied spray and gently peeled it away from the device. I then sprayed both sides of the protector again with their adhesive, and carefully (this second time) centered it on the device screen making sure no protector corners were overhanging the device screen frame. I then successfully squeegeed out all the air bubbles using the enclosed squeegee and then wiped the excess moisture from around the edges after the final squeegee. I then placed the unit flat on a shelf in an area of the house that receives constant air circulation from the heating/cooling unit, and left it their for 24-hours (they say it can be handled after 8 hours or so, but I wanted to make sure it was securely attached). When it was time to begin using the unit, the screen saver looked like it was actually part of the device, it was crystal clear with no bubbles, yet the touch-screen device responded perfectly, so the screen protector didn\'t interfere at all with the sensitivity of the unit, needless to say, I am very pleased with the product. In the future, I will purchase additional ArmorSuit products if they make a screen protector for my newly purchased device!
  • One week ago I applied the shield using the easy to follow video instructions and let the unit set for 12 hours. There were about two dozen mostly small bubbles on the screen. However, the instructions said the bubbles would disappear in a few days. The next day I had 14 bubble. The following day I had 8 bubbles and so on until a week later all bubbles were completely gone. The fit was perfect on my Garmin GPS screen. The shield is very clear and doesn\'t not affect the touch screen. There are some slight ridges and lines in the shield still remaining which I will assume will go away over time. I am deleting one star just because of the time lag for the \"healing\" of the screen. I would not hesitate to purchase this brand for any of my electronic devices.September 21, 2015 update: I have been using this shield for over four months. The screen is doing its job but with a couple of small annoyances. First - the screen does a nice job of shielding my device screen. I do a lot of wilderness hiking and my devices take a beating. The screen is covered with deformities which makes the shield look like old glass - not smooth and without marks. However, it does not seem to take away from the transparency and doesn\'t degrade the screen at all. In fact, it may help to reduce the glare. Second - the screen gets dirty really quick with a \"film\" covering the surface making it hard to view the screen. A couple drops of water and a cloth restores it quickly to like new but it can dirty up again in minutes depending on my terrain. I want to save my water for drinking - not washing. I\'m going to drop this rating to a 3 from a 4 because of this problem. A 3 1/2 would be the true rating I\'d like to give. I really like this shield over the other shields which I have used in the past and I would buy it again because I have found nothing better.
  • When I purchased my Garmin 600T I watched a video from Garmin that made me think that the glass screen on the device was bulletproof. Sadly it wasn\'t so I went looking for a screen protector that was and I\'ve found it with ArmorSuit MilitaryShield. The shield came with everything that you need to install the screen - a bottle of surfactant solution, a special drying/cleaning cloth, a squeegee, and simple written instructions.I read the instructions and thought I had a pretty good handle on how the install process would go but I decided to watch the video just to make sure. In my case the written instructions are more than ample. They both emphasized things that needed emphasizing such as washing your fingers with soap and water to avoid fingerprints (I assume these would be permanent) on the screen and those annoying dust specks. When I looked at the unit after the minimum \"cure\" time the screen looks like new glass with just a tiny vestige of the scratch that I put on the glass before I installed the armor suit. After a day of field testing I can say that the device works perfectly (its a touchscreen model) and is now full protected. Although I haven\'t intentionally tried to scratch or dent the new shield it appears to be bulletproof.Best of all, this product is made right here in the USA. It is not an import from some other part of the world. I will ALWAYS, given a choice, purchase products made in my own country. Thanks Armorsuit for doing a great job! I give your product my highest endorsement
