- The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this for a week and so far it’s great! No discernible physical defects out of box. Like any of these watches it isn’t comfortable but you get used to it. There are a lot of settings in the app so you can configure it the way you want it.The step tracker is fine and the stair tracker is decent as far as these devices go. I like that the app gives you stats on your heart rate. The gps function was a big part of why I chose this product and it seems to work pretty great. It’s nice to be able to leave my phone at home on runs, but having to wait 5 minutes for the gps to connect is a little irritating sometimes. Like others have said, make sure to turn the gps off after you’re done using it or it’ll make the otherwise decent battery life plummet. There are a few issues with this product, namely the finicky touch screen which other users have mentioned. The double tap function is basically impossible to execute so be prepared to look like a lunatic every time you try to start a run. The stress tracking function stops working when you’re sweaty. And either I sleep a lot less than I thought I did or the sleep tracking is wonky too.All in all I do enjoy this product and the options the app gives me, even with some of the features being pretty lackluster compared to some competitors. That being said, I’m glad I bought refurbished at half the price because this item is not worth $120.
- There are a million YouTube reviews to go in depth on the functions of this fitness band, so I\'ll just go into my likes and dislikes.Like:LightweightSimple to useCompactDiscreteDislike:Small batteryUnreliable HRTouch sensivity tripped by waterI am really surprised at how well Garmin managed to fit a touch screen into a fitness band size device. Swipes are intuitive and display is easy to read. Not great for reading long text conversations, but it works in a pinch. It\'s so light I often forget I\'m wearing it. It easily slides below my sleeve so I can wear it to the office and keep track of my steps and activity. The \"Move!\" Notification is surprisingly helpful when I lose track of time at my desk. This band would be perfect if all I wanted from it was the occasional 1 hour bike ride/cardio activity and step tracking. With the HR on, the battery dies in 2 days without any GPS activity. I\'m lucky to get 1 day if I do an activity that requires location tracking. I\'ve resorted to deactivating the HR except for activity tracking, but in that mode I have no sleep tracking. Kind of a bummer, but it means I can get 2-3 days out of the battery with my average 1-2 hours of activity tracking per day. However, if you plan on any activities over 4 hours, I recommend bringing a separate GPS device to track. Not great if you ride bikes over 100 miles or run marathons. The nail in the coffin for this band is the touch sensitivity in water. If you swim, work near water, or just wash your hands on a regular basis you may empathize. A single drop of water reads as a finger touch. It will activate activity tracking, dismiss notifications, or just make your wrist buzz and distract you. The worst is if you incorporate swimming in your workout. I knew it wouldn\'t track my swimming, but I wanted to track total time in triathlon training. The act of swimming through water managed to give the watch the proper inputs to pause, stop, and erase my workout by the time I was out of the water. The last thing I want when racing in open water is to wonder if my watch is still recording so I can pace the remainder of my bike and run. Hey, at least it\'s water resistant and still functions once dry.
