- I’m really pleased with how inconspicuous this AirTag mount is, and how easy it was to install.It went on in under a minute, and I used the blank cap. There were no gaps, and I didn’t need the included spacer. No instructions were included, but they were not necessary. I had to use the included hex bolt to replace the slightly longer OEM one.The base appears to be aluminum, and the twist on cap is a hard plastic. The whole kit seems pretty solid, and doesn’t interfere with the AirTag search or audible functions.I would guess a bike expert could spot this, but the average thief would not. Good piece of mind in case my son’s bike is stolen.
- I was very pleased with this. I used a little threadlocker to make this an even more secure hiding spot.

- I didn\'t realize that this was to hold an air tag, so I sent it back because I don\'t have one. It was cool looking though. It had a cool bottle cap top.
- For those of us with expensive bikes, we are always looking for a cost effective way to add some security. This is a neat hidden trick to add an AirTag to allow some limited tracking. It\'s honestly a decent less expensive alternative compared to the $200 plus GPS Bike trackers with also require a monthly fee to track.Now, the design is fun, super easy to install, remove a screw, take off the original cap, screw in the new cap and the screw the air tag and lid on. Easy work. However, what brought this down in rating was what the product page shows on the site is incomplete in the package you receive. This kit did not come with instructions, it did not come with the protective foam pads, nor did it come with the water proof rubber ring. I did have the bottom cover, the stainless steel bolt, two separate covers, and some odd beveled hard plastic ring that isn\'t shown on the product pages pictures. Not sure what it\'s for, as when installing it doesn\'t go anywhere that works with the set up.This one is on my Specialized Diverge, bottom cover fits just like the original one. Only difference is the original is metal, the kit is plastic. Over tighten and it will crack. Doesn\'t seem as though it sits tight enough to prevent dust and water like the original, so keep that in mind. May need to remove and let dry if in rain or other wet rides.
- This was easy to install and unobtrusive. It contains two caps. One is plain black plastic and the other looks like a beer cap. It securely holds the AirTag in place.The screw is countersunk so, beware if you are using your own stem screw. The included screw is also a bit short if you are using stem risers.It works quite well for the intended purpose.
- This stem cap air tag holder installed in minutes. It fits great and could not have been any easier. The airtag, likewise, fits great. I suspect is spend like than 3 minutes total installing it, and that included unboxing and linking up the airtag. Everything is nice and secure, and its pretty inconspicuous. I am sure some bike thieve may be smart enough to realize they should check stem caps these days, but there is nothing about this holder that would lead them to be suspicious. I love the added piece of mind to [assuming its not removed] always know where the bike is. Should it ever get stolen (or lost) hopefully the airtag will save the day. Overall - a great investment if you ride is nicer than a department store bike.
- I ordered this so I could mount an Airtag to my E-MTB.I like taking my E-Mountain Bike onto our local trails. We\'ve had years of brush fires, and I like to document both the destruction and the way that nature rebounds. Some of the locations I want to get to are pretty far away, so I use the bike to get most of the way there and then hike to the locations I want to photograph. That means leaving the bike behind for 30-60 minutes at a time. While most of the bikers and hikers in this area are pretty friendly and trustworthy, I hate to tempt fate, so mounting an Airtag seems like a good idea,Because of the way most e-bikes are made, there are a limited number of places that you can mount an Airtag, especially if you want to keep it hidden. That\'s what attracted me to this Airtag mount.Mounting was simple. Just use the included tool to pop the top off your headtube, remove the bolt, and install this mount along with the bolt. Insert the Airtag into the weatherproof compartment and screw the top on, Two tops are included. I used the plain cap as I wanted this to look like it was original to the bike.After installing, I tested it out. The mount does not seem to interfere at all with the operation of the Airtag. My phone was able to track the Airtag with no issues. I also tried pinging the Airtag. I was able to hear it, but being encased in the mount does reduce the volume significantly. This is not an issue for me, because using the sound of an Airtag to find something is really designed for things like wallets and keys that fall into sofas, not bikes.
