    • I needed adaptor because mine gave out, just as I get it, I used it next day... well my car and I needed it. I am okay but the car is not. And the guy couldn\'t deny the accident, the camera is fantastic too I have a review on that already WHEH that goodness I got this in time... You never know BUY IT
    • I have a older Magellan (that still updates) but my new car does not have a cigarette lighter in the front. When I use the USB the Magellan does not recognize it as a charging source. This charger has a long cable which easily reaches the lighter which the new car has in the back seat ash tray (go figure) so now my Magellan can stay charged/powered.
    • So I have a pretty old GPS. I don’t have a GPS on my phone, which I know makes me a bit old fashioned, so I do find a need for it on occasion. Alas, the other week my son stepped on the cord, and it would no longer charge properly. Of course I found this out while on a trip lol. Once I got home, I researched new GPS systems that retailed for around $70. On a whim, I then decided to check for a new charger. I didn’t expect to find one, but there it was! Exactly what I needed at a fraction of the cost! I have used it and it works great! Thanks for saving me some money with a quality product!
    • I ordered this because I misplaced the original..works just as good as the original.
    • Unfortunately, the rate of current was not right for my dash camera. Causing it to shut off every 10 seconds. The battery was new. So it was not enough current to keep the charge per use. Also the cord was long and cumbersome to connect in front of dash. Next time get a USB cable and cigar ret lighter USB rated for 1.5A or more.
    • I have an older camera mounted on the wind shield. It recorded debris in the road. I had recently ordered a new cable that provides electric to the camera. It\'s recorded what I need (which I copied.) Now I need to find a companion with the XY chromosomes .
