- Perfect fit for the 830, even when a silicone case is installed. Easy to apply and has stayed put through multiple rides.

- I bought a set of these 9H screen protector (another vendor) for my Garmin Edge 830 a couple of years back. The claim is that it is ballistic 9H tempered glass. However, I\'ve turned over my bike numerous times on the side of the trails and noticed scratches on the glass immediately afterwards - these scratches are created by branches or bushes! It got to a point where I can\'t see part of the screen due to massive scratches and reflection.So, I bought this new set from Supershieldz. Price was really good for a set of 3. The package came with a really nice plastic box. Inside has everything you need. Really nice packaging overall. The screen protector, like all tempered glass installation on any mobile device, is not easy to install. It\'s actually more difficult on the Garmin Edge device because of the clip underneath, which swivels and slides quite easily on a table. In addition, the silicone underneath the tempered glass attracts dust like magnets. The dust strips provided actually help in getting rid of the dust on the screen as well as dust underneath the glass. Don\'t bother using Scott tape since that attracts even more dust due to static electricity that it produces.It took me a few tries to get the glass centered. It\'s not perfect but very close. In peeling off and lifting the tempered glass several times, I noticed that the right corner of the glass is a bit chipped. I\'m a bit surprised because that 9H glass should be harder than my fingernail! You can see in the picture that the top is slightly chipped and that I can\'t get rid of the minor bubbles that formed around that edge. For the final installation where the glass is 99% centered on the Garmin screen, I was able to remove all the bubbles everywhere except the top right corner and part of the left side (as shown on the pictures). This is acceptable since the silicone case covers all the sides anyway. To really get rid of the bubbles from the screen, you really have to press down hard and outward from the center of the screen to the edges with your thumb. Just don\'t press it so hard that it cracks the tempered glass and/or the Garmin\'s screen!The glass is probably not 9H hardness. I actually haven\'t found any tempered glass from even the \"best\" vendors to be actually scratch proof. This one is no doubt fairly soft since my nail seem to have chipped the top corner of the glass after lifting the glass a few times to re-center. However, it is good enough to protect my Garmin screen from getting scratched up on my mountain bike rides if I flip my bike upside down or have a huge wipeout on a trail. I\'ll provide long term updates for this review in the future.Update July 29, 2022-------------------------I had a chance to do a several rides and rides where I did turn my bike upsidedown with the Garmin unit still attached to the mount as I forgot to take the computer off my bike. Unlike my previous screen protector, this one actually didn\'t get marred up by the twigs and vegetation on the side of the trail. I wiped it clean after getting home and took a couple of shots with and without the silicone bumper. The screen protector is still scratch free. The bubbles on the upper right corner and left side is still there but you can\'t see it with the bumper on. I\'ll leave my review rating at 3-stars for now and I will provide a long term update for the Supershieldz Garmin Edge 530/830 Screen Protector.
- Easy to install and they are so generous that they give you separate set up \"tools\" for each screen protector. Perfect cut fitting 530/830 and no issue using Garmin official silicon case, and perfect protection against nasty sweat when training indoor.
- Easy to use and install
- I had a huge crash (breaking my collar bone and requiring surgical repair) the day after installing this screen protector. In that crash, my Garmin completely dislodged from the bike and took a beating in a rock garden. The screen protector became thoroughly destructed but protected the Garmin screen perfectly; hopefully the photos I included show this well. I strongly recommend this screen protector both for protection effectiveness, for the clear and easy install process, and for the great price for a three-pack.
- I\'m going to echo the other reviews a bit. I\'ve had this on my Edge 830 for a little over a month now and it\'s been perfect. I really cannot properly convey how easy this was to install. I cleaned the screen per the instructions, dropped on the screen protector, and it just adhered itself perfectly. I\'ve been struggling with screen protectors on my own and my families devices since 2006 and this was by far the easiest one I\'ve ever installed.It doesn\'t inhibit the touch screen at all, I feel there might be a tiny bit more glare in direct sunlight, but I only used my 830 once without this installed.I\'m so impressed I\'m buying one of these for my Forerunner 645 music
- Not much to review, the screen protector is a perfect fit for my Garmin Edge 530, easy to install, and seems to be high quality. No complaints. Great price. Highly recommend.
