- The newest wireless carplay device from CheerDriving is here!I currently drive a Mazda CX-5 2019 and this device works flawlessly with it. The start up is pretty much instant when plugging into the car. The first thing you’ll see flash on your screen is the AI Box splash screen. From there, you will see the CheerDriving main screen that includes Apple CarPlay, Google Mail, Google Maps, and many streaming apps such as Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix! There’s even a Google Play app to download additional apps. Also has GPS built in.To stream your favorite shows, you first have to connect this device to a wifi network. I think this is very convenient for those who have in car wifi, but for me, I would use the hotspot from my iPhone. After you connect to a wifi network, you just launch the streaming app of your choice and then login as you would on any other device.Another cool thing this device can do is that it has an HDMI output option for another monitor. That means you can plug in a rear screen for your kids or passengers during long trips to stream their favorite shows! I don’t have a read monitor myself but I think that’s pretty cool.I’ve tried this carplay device on my friends Lexus 350 RX 2022 Model and it works great as well!
