• I just received these and was a bit apprehensive about how well the ball would fit the GPS mounting plate. It fits very well. It remains to be seen how well this performs on the road. I am trying to fix my broken Garmin NUVI Cam windshield mount. Garmin has stopped supporting the NUVI Cam and has no replacement parts for it. I don\'t expect them to support it forever, but they still have the DEZL CAM which forever was the same as the NUVI CAM, but just recently they changed the magnetic mount from a round one to a square one. Therefore, I am left with no other alternative but to repair my existing mount or spend $500 for a DEZL Cam, which isn\'t going to happen since the CAM part is the only part I use this thing for anyway.

• A good buy but stock up if you live in a warm climate with plenty of sunlight.
• Great replacement solution for my Garmin GPS windshield mount.
• You buy these REALLY cheap and you now have a GPS on your window again. For those of us lucky enough to not have cars that are basically AI on wheels, this suction mount gets your Garmin or Magellan (have used on both) GPS back on your window. I never understood the insanity of using your phone for GPS. I literally had a customer tell me that she ended up missing her exit because her phone rang and it crashed her map, and took her 30 minutes out of the way. The next exit was like 20 minutes later and she had to completely backtrack. Dont be that person! Use a real GPS that stays in your car. It just makes more sense. Besides, a GPS costs like a hundred bucks and a phone costs like a grand. Why risk it? Oh and NO people dont really steal GPS anymore. There isnt much market. Theyd rather steal your dashcam. there IS a market for those.
