- So when receiving it, it was larger then I pictured which is a good thing. It was huge. It’s plug’n play so it connects straight to the factory harness. The connections are weird, there 2 different plugs for USB, subwoofer plug-in, external mic plug in(although there’s one built in to the radio), and an offline GPS.The interface is weird at first. You can’t move the apps you want to the Home Screen. You can’t coatomize the Home Screen at all besides the wallpaper. So you’re stuck with buttons for Wifi, Apps, BT, Wire Navi, Downloaded Music(not Spotify, Pandora, etc.), and settings. But you grow into it.Apps that you can’t get are Netflix, Hulu, Disney+. You can get Paramount+, Amazon, Tubi, YouTube and a lot more. These are for external monitors like built in TVs or Head test monitors.The Apple Car play…. Doesn’t automatically connect. Connects thru an app called Z-Link via Bluetooth or USB. It’s a bit pixelated but works great.The vent normally beside the radio, slightly gets covered by the new Bessel. So when the heat is on it heats the screen, mildly. But if it gets to hit the screen starts lagging.
