- these feel cheap but they do function, if you are using any radio that can directly take the signal wires for steering wheel controls and let you set them up in the menu then you won\'t need anything else (most of the low price chinese android head units for example)if you are using a radio that doesn\'t let you set the controls (like the alpine ilx-w650) you will need an interface and most likely a multimeter to get the resistance values for the button presses so you can set up the interface module (i used an idatalink maestro for mine)
