- This antenna works great, if it is mounted outside the vehicle. My install guide said I could mount this inside the truck behind the head unit/by the defrost vent, but NO SIGNAL AT ALL from that location. Once i mounted it on the roof, worked perfect. Piece of advice, don\'t just use the magnet on the bottom of the antenna, use some high quality double sided tape. 3M makes a tape specifically for mounting on car bodies, USE IT! or your antenna will fly off in a car wash or in heavy wind.

- This unit has an SD card so you would think the manufacture would update their software to be at today\'s standard. I realize that this unit was made in 2007 but still can\'t the manufacture at least update the software?
